VI Chemical Peels
VI Chemical Peels
Vitality Institute Chemical peels were created by Dr. Abdala. These are medical grade chemical peels that can help improve skin texture, pigment, tone, acne, fine line and wrinkles and more! The solution breaks down dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and stimulates collagen production, resulting in a smoother, brighter complexion.
A chemical peel is a non-invasive treatment that uses a solution containing various concentrations of a variety of acids including Salicyclic Acid, Retinoic acid, Phenol, Trichloroacetic acid, Vitamin C and more. So, what does that mean? Salicyclic Acid has a natural derivative of aspirin, known for its ability to penetrate deep into the skin to exfoliate, unclog pores, and promote cell turnover. Retinoic Acid is a derivative of Vitamin A that plays a crucial role in skin health and aesthetics. It can help increase cell turnover and stimulate collagen and elastin turnover to help create healthy skin. Phenol is another ingredient that is used and is a strong chemical agent commonly used in chemical peels to address various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. It is also used as a numbing agent. It's known for its ability to penetrate deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of pores. Some of it its functions include:
Exfoliation: Phenol helps break down dead skin cells, revealing smoother, brighter skin.
Collagen stimulation: It stimulates collagen synthesis, which can improve skin elasticity, firmness, and texture.
Pore refinement: Phenol reduces the appearance of pores by shrinking their size and improving skin tightness.
Trichloroacetic Acid penetrates the skin medium depth while stimulating collagen production. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant that protects the skin against damage while having an antiinflammatory factor in it.
